Yom HaShoah ~ Holocaust Remembrance Day ~ This is the day on which people all over the world remember the six million Jews and five million non-Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Did you know that 1.5 million of those who perished were children? Today, Jew or not, take a few minutes to appreciate the things we take for granted on a daily basis. Remember those who died in the Holocaust, those who survived, and the people and children around the world today who are victims of war. Hug your kids a little tighter, remind them that they're loved, give your spouse or
partner a passionate embrace, and get in touch with family and friends.
It is never to early to teach
tolerance. Teach your children about differences between people and
teach them to love and respect all of the differences in our world. |
